We got a bit of cabin fever sitting in our tiny section of our front office and started knocking walls down. We have for 6 years been sitting in this tiny drop ceiling office cubicle type situation with terrible old school fluorescent office lights. We kept saying this is highly dangerous to the creative process as it continued to drain all creativity from us. So we decided to shut down for the holiday season and get this place in shape and make a beautiful showroom and become the furniture and art gallery we have always envisioned. It costs a ton to do this type of thing so we grabbed tools and got to work. Coming soon is our high ceiling showroom with our own custom chandeliers and furniture and sculptures. This space will be industrial and light by our own custom light fixtures. We will have examples of our work on display and pieces for sale that can be delivered that day. Many updates to come soon. We will be able to show contemporary modern, rustic, industrial, and traditional and transitional hill country furniture designs in one spot. 
We will have space to show our custom dining tables with a whole set of Wanderlust Ironworks Chairs and a custom candelabra centerpiece to boot. These are some before and afters of whats going down.

We have a pile of luxury solid welded custom hardwood dining tables. We get super swamped with table orders for Christmas every year and this year we are ahead of the game. Got a new 14 foot long custom granite and steel dining table delivered to our clients luxury ranch property. We got our custom forged wine racks delivered to the client this weekend. Working on a pile of new sculptures and loving every min of it! Thankful this year for so much so far though is getting to make sculpture we want for the first time since we opened our studio.  

We made two custom forged wine racks this week with some brass accents and they should hold about 100 bottles each. Double your pleasure double your fun! Also we made some huge industrial style mirrors custom for a home designer in Houston.

So we got to deliver our reclaimed wood dining table with forged legs and copper accents out to our clients 600 acre ranch last week. We also brought out two hanging day beds that will be on the back patio. The home is almost done and our last project is a beautiful custom fireplace screen. The clients were so cool they took us out in their open top safari vehicle to show us some deer and hogs running. The safari truck has an auto feeder that throws corn out while you drive! 

The next build this week is a massive 14 foot long custom dining table that matches the custom vent hood. This table is an all steel custom base that is one piece and will have two huge slabs of leathered black granite.

Next up is two super custom rustic/modern wine cabinets or wine racks. These have a see through mesh on the sides and will have super elaborate hand forged vines on the fronts. There will be two of them and they can be pushed together to make one huge unit that holds over 120 bottles of wine.

We also had some custom shelf brackets and another custom dining table base with trapezoid legs to make a neat modern simple steel table base.

Took a stroll to the San Antonio River down in the Mission trails and saw some cool public sculpture and some nature.

Lastly we picked up an Eams lounge chair and ottoman and have always wanted one and it turns out they are just as comfortable and classic as they seem.

Well with the good weather we started a rapid hand forged build of two custom display tables. These were specifically for chess boards that our client has collected, and he had some really neat ones! Reminds us of The Queens Gambit thats out right now. We also got done with the Big Green Egg custom built dual bbq table. This thin was built like a battleship and is ready to go with a storage drawer with washable stainless steel drawer insert and four tool hooks. Then lastly we did a removal of a couple of cool Sebastian sculptures from the river walk downtown.

Hand forged iron dining table with reclaimed wood top done. Giant custom industrial bookshelf done. We got some super cool custom steel and copper mesh one is huge thick round steel and the other has what they call flat face. Have a pile of public art projects in the works we are working on all the details for them and will get going soon! We are also now making iron doors and rolling barn doors. These doors are mostly hot rolled steel with the blue effect and are modern and contemporary in style. As the weather down here gets cooler we get a bit more interested in custom forging again. Time to drag the anvil over and start smaking some metal.

One of our custom dining tables with a reclaimed wood top is done and will put it all together later today. We are working on a cool vintage stainless steel end table from back in the day. One of our cigar press book shelves or display shelf. Autumn's super fun dandelion sculpture at about 24 feet tall at the state fair a couple of years ago.

We chopped cut and rebuilt a clients antique tree sculpture this week. We got a pic of our large Scaleworks custom table delivery which was still one of our favorite spaces. We are also working on a stainless steel shoe rack that will be used to decontaminate shoes on a Mercy Ships Floating Hospital. These ships before covid-19 and the pandemic were out there in third world countries helping sick people and now are helping with that as well. Also a shot of our sculptors version of a paint brush, our angle grinders, each one does its own thing and adds texture and character to our work in addition to cutting and regular grinding.
