Good morning San Antonio! We had a guy fix our office AC yesterday and he had this cool tool that was a thermometer that had a laser pointer on it and wherever you point the laser dot it tells the temp. Outside at the time was 90 degrees and then I said how hot is it in the shop and he said do you really want to know , and I said yes.... 101! This was with all the doors open and all 6 of our crappy fans on! So we bought a monster fan and its amazing! Almost done with the lights for Magnolia Pancake Haus and these things are huge! Each chandelier is 8 feet tall. We took some clips of Autumn in full production mode and she rigged up this system that shot pieces out into a basket every time exactly the same. Well got to the studio at 4am and it was still hot in here what the heck! We are welding and grinding on the Magnolia Pancake Haus lights and getting everything for the huge job of custom wiring it all up. Now we turn them into one of a kind giant light fixtures or chandeliers for our wonderful clients at the Magnolia Pancake Haus here in San Antonio. We did some blacksmith stuff this weekend with family that was down and had a blast even though it was a little warm with the forge running in our cement wall building! Today will be about a thousand holes popped with our ironworker and mucho welding! Our client is using them at trade shows as display shelves for the amazing cigars they represent. They decided that they would like them to be functional so we set them up where you could actually press cigars in them if you wanted, how cool! Then we custom built some crates for them as well. If you have an oddball project bring it on down and we will be glad to get it going. The presses and crates ended up at 1400 pounds. Now we are ready to build a huge chandelier project for the new event center at Magnolia Pancake Haus. Pics to come of that soon.
