Finally making a matched live edge slab wood dining table top for our current table build. This one has only solid steel parts from the custom honeycomb laser cut steel plate and solid 2 inch thick round bar to connect the two legs. Mike and Kyle forging some steel in the hottest part of the day. Also some industrial custom steel tables we did for a huge office area at one of our San Antonio clients industrial reclaimed theme office.

Working on a hand forged iron coffee table that we will drop a glass top in and gold leaf it. Huge custom light fixture that was a seven and nine foot diameter hoops with a ton of low watt bulbs for a neat restaurant down near Houston Texas. Also a couple of past artwork and sculpture pieces. Oh if you have heard of the sculptor that invented the blackest paint on earth and wont sell it to anyone, we just got a tube of a new formula by chance that is even blacker of a paint and is now the blackest paint on the planet! Custom Furniture San Antonio. Some random pics of projects new and old. We got some stainless laser cut for a gate and would make a cool room divider for offices or to separate rooms at home.  Took a long drive north of San Antonio up into the hill country in our little old miata convertible. We got up before the sun and just took off. Had a blast and got to see some amazing backroad views and cool ranches. Visited some art galleries and saw some great pieces. If you ever want the fun of a jetski on the highway get a Mazda Miata and slap a big turbo on it and a rollbar and you are in for fun at 32mpg! Mazdaspeed Miata Zoom Zoom! Hammering some steel rod for a large custom coffee table today in Alamo City.  Some pics of a delicate aluminum sculpture repair for the McNay art museum. The piece is part of their permanent collection. Built a reproduction bird bath for a beautiful ceramic bowl. The base was rusted out all the way so we built a new one. This morning we came across some pics of custom tables we did for a client in Austin this day in history. This was a custom conference table made from hardwood and steel heavy angle iron. We fabricated these nice wood end caps with industrial bolts on each end of the tables. This week we tried to fix a desk top out of black walnut live edge slab wood but it was very twisted lumber from wherever the client got this piece. So it looks like we will be making a better replacement desk top. Also a pic of a steel planter/ fire feature and some trellises we did a while back out of solid flat bar.

Some past sculptures we have ended up using as a maquette for larger size versions of these or as a jumping off point for other sculptural works. We have some very exciting projects coming up in the public art world.  

These were a set of four bike trailers we built for a mobile phone company here in San Antonio. They were used by them to charge peoples phones downtown near the Alamo. They went from our shop to get a slick wrap and some graphics. 

Here is the done deal on our huge aluminum welded dining table with x shape industrial steel table base. The two custom matching benches turned out great also. Now that the custom dining chairs and benches are around the whole dining set it has all come together.

 This is a recent dining table we built custom for one of our favorite San Antonio clients. They came by to check on the progress and dropped off some great custom YETI swag, a whole case of them! This table was welded aluminum tube and was over 350 lbs before we attached the custom steel table legs to it. Also we found a pic of our first custom iron chandelier. We built this for a client in California and they ended up displaying it in the lobby of their winery. The lumber in the pic is some very old long leaf pine reclaimed from an old hotel in downtown San Antonio and we pulled an handful of antique handmade iron blacksmith nails in the wood.  Thanks to Woodcraft for hosting the makers meetup last night at Alamo Beer. We met some really cool folks that make some amazing stuff. Its so fun to hear how creative San Antonio is. Welded a custom sign frame for our buddy Mike over at Digiprint sign company.
